Today marked the first day that Claire tasted infant formula. My milk production literally dropped and I got stressed seeing myself not able to produce milk enough for her day consumption (hours when I am at work). I’m blaming everything to my hectic schedule, problems I can share with to others plus other matters. I still deserve a pat on my back, right? I was able to 100% breastfeed her for 5 months and 2 weeks.
Before, I was able to produce 16oz of milk but it depleted to 10oz. I had no choice but to accept the fact of mixed feeding. My mom would give her infant formula once she had consumed the milk I had produced.
I’m not happy but I have no choice. I don’t want her to get hungry.
