As a mother

Posted by CHAT at 11:34 PM 0 comments

As a mother with two kids, I find it a necessity to insure my kids’ health and future. Who wouldn’t? Like any other moms out there, I only wanted the best of life for them. I scouted for the good school near our area for my first born and eventually send him there for preschool. I make sure that we religiously had their vaccines and boosters. And right now, I am scouting for insurances for them. Good enough, I was able to find a company who offers Term Life Insurance in an affordable price. I can even get a quote from them within a matter of minutes; all I have to do is dial their toll free number 1-800-939-0710. I can Buy Life Insurance without the hassle and expense of medical examinations. I loathe filling out long medical questionnaires and I find it time-consuming to get medical exams required. This has been understood by NoMedExamLifeInsurance.com, and so they are one of the first companies in America licensed to sell no medical exam life insurances. This is ideal for individuals who need the coverage right away, individuals who have health complications that make getting ordinary life insurance more difficult, people who – for personal or religious reasons – want or need to avoid lab test, needles and other procedures, and others. Life Insurance No Exam, love it!

Baptismal gift

My colleague asked me a couple of days ago to design a baptismal invitation for her nephew based in Canada. I eagerly accepted the task and made two designs. After which, the designs were sent for approval to her sister. I just receive a mail today from my colleague advising me that one of the designs I made was approved by her sister. The sister was even asking if I could design a thank you card to match the invitation as well.

At the end of the mail, my colleague asked me what should she gave as baptismal gift for her nephew. If it is not that expensive to ship items to Canada, baby boys clothes are the best answer. However, the shipping fee is more than the actual cost of the item so it is not possible. I told her to make a photo book and have it shipped there. That would surely be most appreciated by her sister. Or, she could fly to Canada and be there on the Christening day itself. Besides, she is one of the godmother of the kid.

Anyhoo, I have to sign off now as I have to make the lay-out of the thank you card in a few minutes. Ciao!

Baby clothing – checked.

Thanks to the Internet, I was able to scout some good deals on infant clothes when I was still pregnant with my daughter last year. It took me months searching high and low for the best brands at cheaper costs of clothes before hitting the check out button. There are actually a lot of things to consider, aside from the price. Some stores even claim the clothes they are selling are organic. Aside from online shops, I also visited a few baby stores in some malls in the metro to check out their garments. Most of the time, I do not go home empty handed which makes my husband whine. But whenever I show him the price tag, he would stop and agree that my purchases are a steal. Besides, I don’t purchase those that wouldn’t be in use. We learned our lesson the hard way when we go all out purchasing almost all baby items available when I was still pregnant with my first born. Most items were not put in use. Gawd! We were like crazy people who threw our hard earned money as trash. We should have listen to our beloved mothers, the experts.

The pains of weaning

Posted by CHAT at 8:16 AM 0 comments

I feel guilty. I feel I am a bad mommy.

It has been three days now that I don’t let baby C nurse on me. I am currently taking a magic coffee thus making my milk not anymore safe for her. And so, I wean her cold turkey style. Thankfully, I still didn’t feel the swelling breasts including the pain that reaches until the arm pit. I can still raise my arm, yahoo!

However, baby C started to become restless and almost doesn’t have a good sleep. She became so whiny and extra clingy. I am actually this.close to giving in but I always remind myself not to.

I just hope baby C wouldn’t feel I love her less now that I weaned her. I really feel guilty.

Back to school

The two-week vacation of my son has finally ended. In a couple of hours, he’s back to school. And what better way to welcome the kids back is to give them an exam that was supposed to be given last October 19. Ain’t that cool? Haha!

Anyways, he’s very excited to go back to school and see his friends best friends and his teacher. I just hope his eagerness to go to school will not falter.
